Abuelo’s Kicks Off Summer with Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day

Abuelo’s starts the summer off right with two celebrations planned for May. All Abuelo’s restaurants are celebrating both Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day during the month of May with a number of activities and great food and drink specials. Abuelo’s has 40 restaurants located in 15 states nationwide.

Bring your fiesta spirit to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Abuelo’s, Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5, and enjoy all-day drink specials and other fun activities. Throughout the Cinco celebration, Abuelo’s will feature draft domestic beers for only $1.99 and Mexican Flag Margaritas, a specially created Margarita designed to resemble the Mexican flag, for only $5.95 each. Also, guests who order one of Abuelo’s signature La Grandeza Margaritas – either on the rocks or frozen – during the Cinco celebration will receive an additional shot of Premium Corazon Tequila in a special take-home shot glass for only $2 more.

“We hope everyone comes out to celebrate Cinco de Mayo the way it should be, at Abuelo’s,” said Robert Lin, president of Food Concepts International, Abuelo’s parent company. “The great drink specials combined with the authentic, Mexican atmosphere, makes Abuelo’s the perfect place to get into the Cinco spirit, because after all, we know Cinco!”

Additionally, this Mother’s Day, Abuelo’s is honoring moms with some special gifts. Moms who dine in the restaurant on Sunday, May 12, will receive a special Mother’s Day card with complimentary entrée offer for a future visit, while supplies last.
