Alex Balderson
Software Development and IT Lead

Alex Balderson’s title with the company is Software Development and IT lead. He will work alongside company’s CTO, Rocky Craig, to manage all elements of the award-winning software developed and owned by MenuTrinfo. “With approximately 50,000 recipes and 130,000+ unique products/ingredients matched in our database it is crucial to have another accomplished technical mind to continue with the development and specialized needs to serve our clients.” Said Rocky Craig.

“I originally graduated with degrees in mathematics and economics from CSU (Colorado State University). Data has always been something I enjoy, whether I am exploring existing data or just reviewing statistics. I enjoy the elegance and creativity required to solve programming problems, and seeing the code in action. There also seems to be no shortage of code to write and maintain (with MenuTrinfo). Overall I’m pretty excited to be here!” said Balderson on his new job venture with AllerTrain by MenuTrinfo.

He will be handling all technical and hardware related issues, managing the IT infrastructure and business applications, fixing bugs or adding functionality to existing code and tools, developing new tools where opportunities for automation present themselves and whatever fun and interesting projects might present themselves. His experience combined with the great need for a brilliant technical mind will surely be a match made in heaven for the company.

TJ Grisel
Business Development Manager

TJ’s title with the company is Business Development Manager and he will be instrumental in sales, business development and relationship building with clients on both the MenuTrinfo and AllerTrain side of the company. He will be influential in helping all business inquiries become long lasting partnerships for both companies.

“I currently follow the Sandler Sales Method which is a 7-step system for successful selling. My approach is to listen more than talking so I can identify what the customer really is after. After spending many years protecting the environment, I wanted to focus on people. I knew I could stand behind what MenuTrinfo was doing since our food and the information we consumers get needs help. My family has become more conscious of what we eat and I want to help others become aware along the way.” said Grisel on his passion for sales and his position with the company.

With his fervor for sales and relationships and the growing need for someone to manage and close partnership deals with both companies, Grisel is poised to expand AllerTrain and MenuTrinfo’s business relationships.

“Both TJ and Alex instantly felt like great fits. With the growing demand for understanding of our unique products in the database, management of business partnership and exceptional customer service on a deeper level we had been in search for team members who could take us to the next level.
