Restaurant Features Unique Menu of American Fare with a Culinary Twist
Bo’s Steak & Grill, the country’s first, fresh-casual steakhouse concept offering familiar American fare with a culinary twist, will open its first location in Lindale, Texas, on May 20, 2014. Bo’s Steak & Grill is an entirely new concept within the intensifying, fresh-casual restaurant sector that offers today’s more food-conscious diner a modern steakhouse experience at reasonable prices without sacrificing quality, flavor, atmosphere, value, or service.
“Bo’s Steak & Grill is a truly unique dining experience around a contemporary steakhouse menu based on significant research and development,” said Tom Sacco, CEO, Bo’s Steak & Grill. “Our menu features delicious, high-quality American fare including a made-to-order, fresh, Farm-to-Market Salad Bar. At Bo’s, our guests will feel like they are enjoying a cookout or meal with family and friends with familiar foods they remember from their childhood. We anticipate that given our country’s love for steaks and beef in general, Bo’s will resonate strongly among Millennials and Gen Xers, who want fresh, high-quality American food with a contemporary twist.”
Bo’s Steak & Grill in Lindale, Texas, is located at 3405 South Main Street and will open from 10:45am to 10:00pm Monday through Thursday, 10:45am to 11:00pm Friday and Saturday, and open for Sunday Brunch at 9:45am and the full menu excluding Brunch from 2pm until 10:00pm. The restaurant is a 4,000-square foot location with an outdoor patio.
“Every small town in America has a Bo, someone who grew up All-American and whose memories revolve around good times with family and friends,” said Sacco. “Bo’s brings people together in a warm, relaxed and casual environment with a menu that updates American fare with unexpected flavors and presentation.”
While the atmosphere is comfortable, attentive service is a hallmark of Bo’s. Guests will order at the counter, but will receive full-service attention including Bo’s Backyard Lemonade™, Wine, Beer and Margaritas after they sit at their table.
An American Steakhouse Redefined with Unexpected Flavors
While the mouthwatering steaks are the heart of the menu, guests will also enjoy unique, grilled entrees, sides, appetizers and desserts. At Bo’s build-your-own, fresh-tossed, Farm-to-Market Salad Bar, a salad bar attendant builds each guest their own customized salad with locally sourced fresh produce, quinoa, kale, black beans and other vegetables. Guests can also choose from a selection of signature salads that can also be modified. To round out the menu, Bo’s offers premium wines, beers and specialty frozen beverages.
Bo’s line-up of high-quality steaks includes six- and 10-ounce Center Cut Top Sirloin steaks, a 10-ounce Ribeye, a six-ounce Flat Iron, and a half-pound, handcrafted chicken fried steak. “Our selection of mouthwatering, cooked-to-order steaks will be a huge draw among our guests, but our entire menu will also hold great appeal,” said Sacco.
Bo’s also offers a range of tempting appetizers such as thick-cut, Candied Bacon rolled in brown sugar and spices. The French Fry Trio includes Peanut Butter-drizzled Sweet Potato fry, Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper Seasoned Russet Burbank Potato fry, and Chili Cumin-spiced Purple Peruvian Potato fry, served with our house-made Dr. Pepper Ketchup. Among other appetizers are Bo’s Deviled Eggs, which will rotate flavors every month.
An eclectic mix of burgers – all served on fresh, locally baked buns – includes the Bo Daddy Burger made with a Certified Angus beef patty, spicy chopped BBQ brisket, crispy bacon, house-made diced dill pickle, iceberg lettuce, and sharp cheddar cheese. The Black and Bleu Burger includes a Certified Angus beef patty with a healthy dollop of blue cheese crumbles. Bo’s Bison Burger is a lean, American-farmed raised Bison patty, served up on fresh spring greens, with roasted garlic mayo and roasted tomato.
Sandwich selections range from a spicy, smoked and sliced BBQ Brisket sandwich with shredded purple cabbage slaw, red onion and the same house-made spicy pickle spears. The Chicken Club sandwich includes herbed mayo, roasted tomato, spring greens, Swiss cheese, and bacon. A twist on an old favorite, the B.E.L.T. sandwich includes thick cut, crispy bacon, farm fresh fried egg, iceberg lettuce, tomato slices, and Bo’s Smokehouse Mayo served on Texas Toast. Bo’s ramps up the All-American hot dog with a crispy bacon-wrapped, eight-ounce, Certified Angus beef frank and adds spicy Smoked Chopped BBQ Brisket, whole grain mustard and our house-made spicy pickle spear. And for the vegetable lovers, Bo’s offers up freshly grilled seasonal vegetables, fresh avocado slices with garlic aioli mayo rolled in a sun-dried tomato flour tortilla.
Bo’s entrees include Beer Can Chicken, brought current with a Shiner Bock marinade. The Cilantro Lime Salmon is oven-seared and served with a signature fresh Cilantro Lime butter sauce, and there is also a Citrus Shrimp featuring eight jumbo shrimp grilled to perfection with Cilantro Lime butter sauce. For BBQ lovers, Bo’s offers several BBQ options such as a mouthwatering Chicken Breast or “falling off the bone good” Baby Back Ribs (half- and full-rack). Entrees also feature Smoked BBQ Beef Brisket plates and a selection of Southern favorites such as a Four Cheese Mac and Cheese casserole or the Oven Roasted Seasonal Vegetables.
Bo’s offers a variety of side dishes including Bo’s Sweet Potato baked with a maple syrup rub and rock candy and served with cinnamon butter. The Potatoes Au Gratin are made with three cheeses and fresh green chilies, and the Corn on the Cob is grilled with its husk on and served with a Smokey pepper butter and parmesan cheese.
The Farm-to-Market Salad Bar at Bo’s also offers a number of signature salads, which can be customized to guests’ likings. Signature salads include the Southwest Taco Salad, Steakhouse Salad, Sweet & Spicy Asian Shrimp Salad, Hail to Caesar Chicken Salad, and a Farm-to-Market Cobb Salad.
Desserts at Bo’s would be a highlight anywhere, but here they are another great reason to come to Bo’s. A few examples include a Ginger Caramel Apple Crisp, a fresh fruit Summer Berry Stack, a Chocolate Lovin’ Spoon Cake or a variety of flavored cupcakes.
More than 250 Bo’s Planned for Next Five to 10 Years
Bo’s hopes to open as many as 250 locations around the country and internationally during the next five to 10 years, and welcomes small and large franchisees, who know their markets and who have proven experience in the restaurant industry. Development territories will also be offered to qualified operators. “We have the infrastructure and personnel already in place to support franchisees in all phases of their operations necessary to succeed. Bo’s can ramp up very quickly as the country embraces our concept,” said Sacco.
