Local entrepreneur excited to open his second location in Kentucky

Buffalo Wings & Rings, a rapidly growing club-level sports restaurant, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest location at 1604 Ring Road on October 21, 2015.

Local owner Shaun Hill, 36, is looking forward to opening his second Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant in Kentucky after experiencing success with his first venture in Bardstown. Having been born and raised in Bardstown, Hill was longing to return to the country life after attending Eastern Kentucky University and moving to Louisville to pursue a career in banking. In order to fulfil this goal, Hill resigned from his six-year career in banking to embark on a new adventure as a business owner in 2009.

“I was looking to open a family sports restaurant in Bardstown because we didn’t have anything like it in our community,” said Hill. “I ultimately chose Buffalo Wings & Rings over other brands because I liked the team, ultimate sports atmosphere and the food. Buffalo Wings & Rings offers a fresh, never-frozen product unlike other franchise brands. I liked that it was a family restaurant that is active in the local community, not just another chain.”

Since opening in 2009, the Bardstown location has seen more than 10 percent growth in sales each year, and the location won the Top Sales Growth Award in 2014. Hill hopes to open a third location within the next three years, and he also plans to give back to the community by hosting fundraisers on a weekly basis for the area high schools and youth sports teams.

“We have grown our fan base thanks to three things: our chef-inspired food, VIP sports experience and BuffaloveTM service promise,” said Nader Masadeh, President and CEO of Buffalo Wings & Rings. “We’re looking forward to celebrating the opening with our guests from Elizabethtown and becoming the future ‘go-to’ place to watch the game or enjoy a meal with friends and family.”

The Elizabethtown location joins a consistently growing family of Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurants. The brand is positioned to open 13 locations by the end of 2016, for a total of 79 locations system wide. Buffalo Wings & Rings achieved its highest year of system-wide sales in 2014 and quadrupled growth in new franchise units as it continues to expand in Indiana, Florida, Texas and beyond.

A brand is only as good as its food, and the food at Buffalo Wings & Rings is exceptional. Guests are treated to fresh – never frozen – wings that can be customized your way. With 12 flavors, two dry seasonings, and choice of five heat levels you can create endless combinations of flavors from the traditional to the avant-garde. But it doesn’t stop there. The Buffalo Wings & Rings menu features a variety of chef-inspired options from mouthwatering salads to juicy and innovative burgers as well as a number of other choices to tantalize the taste buds of every member of the family. Each Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant features a comprehensive selection of both local craft beers and national brands to wash down a meal while cheering on the home team on one of the restaurant’s many TVs throughout the space.

“Everyone who walks into a Buffalo Wings & Rings is treated like a VIP in an atmosphere that’s warm and welcoming,” said Hill. “We are committed to making sure that when you leave, you’ll want to come back. If you are a wing connoisseur or simply enjoy being out with your family for a great meal, we have a table waiting for you at Buffalo Wings & Rings. And, with more than 40 HDTVs, game day just got better.”Buffalo Wings & Rings to Open Newest Location in Elizabethtown on October 21, 2015
