Tiare Technology announced today it has deployed the Wireless WineList solution at Pot Roast & Pinot, the newest restaurant by Joe Abston and Aimée Wilson. The iPad menu solution will showcase the restaurant’s 200-bottle wine list which focuses primarily on pinot noir wines from around the world.
The Wireless WineList application, using patented technology, allows Pot Roast & Pinot diners to easily view and order wines using an Apple iPad tablet and Tiare’s proprietary software. Guests can use the tablets to browse the wine list, discovering the breadth of wines offered. They can also quickly sort the wines to display by region, varietal, price range or other categories, or click to search the list and pinpoint a specific selection.
The system displays extensive information about Pot Roast & Pinot’s extensive wine offerings, including tasting notes, vintage information, and background on the winery and region. Photos, wine labels and other information are also displayed. Guests can place several selections onto the system’s Consideration List for discussion with the staff.

The wine list at Pot Roast & Pinot is focused on pinot noir, which comprises roughly 80 selections of the 200-bottle list. All of the major pinot noir producing areas of the globe are highlighted, with particular emphasis on California, Oregon and Burgundy. The list also features offerings from Italy, South America, Germany, Austria and New Zealand. There are 31 wines by the glass offered, as well as tasting flights that enable guests to sample many of the unique selections.
