Newly created position filled by industry veteran
Pei Wei, the fast-casual restaurant known for its bold, fresh and affordable Asian-inspired menu, has hired restaurant marketing executive Clay Dover as its first Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role Dover will be responsible for growing brand awareness, customer counts and sales, including overseeing all marketing, culinary and guest experience initiatives.

Dover previously served for more than six years as the Chief Marketing Officer for Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, one of the fastest growing restaurant chains in the industry. He was awarded the “Dallas CMO of the Year Award” in 2013 and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the National Restaurant Association’s Marketing Executives Group.
