Tennessee dust off your boots, Spring Hill’s and Nashville’s next favorite burger joint is just around the corner!
On Monday, December 14, Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries will open its doors to customers at the new Tennessee location, 2041 Wall Street, Spring Hill, TN 37174. This is the second Hwy 55 restaurant in Tennessee, with 50 new locations planned in the state over the next 10 years.
“Spring Hill is nestled 30 miles south of Nashville, which is one of the largest and fastest growing areas in Tennessee,” said Cade Cothren, one of the Hwy 55 Master Franchisees for Tennessee, who he co-owns with his parents and two brothers. “Spring Hill really has a family-friendly feeling and we’re confident Hwy 55’s dedication to authentic hospitality and open grill atmosphere will fit right in.”
Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries boasts a fresh, All-American diner experience with fresh, never-frozen burgers, premium sliced cheesesteaks piled high on steamed hoagies, and frozen custard made in-house every day. With its open-grill design, the kitchen’s dedication and care when hand-crafting meals is front and center.
“The great thing about Spring Hill is that you get a small town feel, even though it’s not a small town any more,” said Hwy 55 president and founder Kenney Moore. “A vibrant community that celebrates a rich music tradition, and is known for their country music artists, pairs perfectly with Hwy 55’s focus on retro values and always-fresh take on classics.”
In keeping with Hwy 55’s continued mission to give back to the communities it enters, the restaurant chain’s charitable organization, The Andy’s Foundation and franchise owners, the Cothren family, will donate $1,000 to Kid’s Place, a non-profit child advocacy center that addresses child abuse, creates community awareness for prevention, and provides a safe home-like haven for victims of abuse. The check will be presented to the charity on opening day.
Hwy 55, a retro-themed diner that features fresh, never-frozen hand-pattied burgers, house-made frozen custard, and other classic favorites in a unique open-kitchen setting, was founded in Goldsboro, North Carolina in 1991. Hwy 55 reflects founder Kenney Moore’s commitment to authentic hospitality and fresh food. Widely known in the state for its fresh food and service that exceeds expectations, the chain won BurgerBusiness.com’s “Best Burger” in 2012. It also was recently named a top 500 franchise in the United States by Entrepreneur magazine and a “Next 20” restaurant brand by Nation’s Restaurant News. HWY 55 currently has 121 locations in 10 states, Denmark and the United Arab Emirates. Like HWY 55 on at https://www.facebook.com/Hwy55burgers or follow us at https://twitter.com/hwy55burgers.
