Dickey's Barbecue Fires Up for a Slow-Smoked Summer of SandwichesIn preparation for true barbecue season, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is firing up their pits for a Slow-Smoked Summer of Sandwiches. Dickey’s will be offering barbecue lovers a special sandwich deal each month made with slow-smoked meats straight from a real, hickory wood pit located at every restaurant. Deals for the summer include:

Chopped Beef Sandwich Meal for $7, available in June
Fancy Pulled Pork Sandwich for $4, available in July
Westerner Sandwich for $5, available Wednesdays in August*

Each of the nearly 600 Dickey’s Barbecue locations is locally owned by their very own Pit Master who graduated from Dickey’s Barbecue University. “Barbecue is a true art form, starting with quality meats smoked to perfection, but it doesn’t stop there, ” said Renee Roozen, President of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “The passion of every local Pit Master hand crafting each sandwich from pit to plate is what makes our product truly authentic.” Each sandwich starts with a hand-rubbed protein smoked low and slow for up to 14 hours in store.

The nation’s largest barbecue chain is set to sell 1,000,000 sandwiches this summer, a feat made possible by the brand’s rapid expansion to now nearly 600 locations in 44 states. “As we grow, we remain dedicated to our core mission: serving authentic, Texas-style barbecue that is slow-smoked on-site every day,” said Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “We are excited to serve up a million of our delicious sandwiches and offer loyal guests a special way to enjoy barbecue over the summer with the Slow-Smoked Summer of Sandwiches.”
