Doves Restaurant, a chic new boutique dining concept in the heart of Midtown Houston, is launching a new upscale brunch experience every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.!
Doves’ new brunch is designed for indulgence, pairing culinary creativity and fresh mimosas with an elevated ambiance and unforgettable vibes.
The new brunch menu, curated by Houston native and award-winning Executive Chef Javani King, offers a dynamic fusion of rich, Southern-inspired flavors and modern flair. The menu is divided into two main sections featuring an innovative range of signature entrees and a host of delicious accompaniments. Each dish is prepared with the finest ingredients, including locally sourced fish, cage free organic poultry, grass-fed and prime Wagyu beef, house made pastas, lamb, and heritage pork.
A few of the standout brunch entrees include:
- Crab Cake Salmon Benedict: House-made crab cakes on fried green tomatoes, topped with salmon, crawfish chipotle hollandaise and poached eggs.
- Tempura Dixie Peach French Toast: Served with candied pecans, bourbon caramel sauce, and a choice of pork pan sausage or hickory-smoked bacon.
- Oxtail Hash: Six-hour slow-braised oxtail served with duck fat-fried potatoes and sautéed peppers and onions.
- Doves + Waffles: Golden brown waffles served with buttermilk fried wings, Madagascar bourbon vanilla maple syrup, and fresh berries.
- The Monte Cristo: A mini twist on a not so French classic, with shaved Black Forest Ham, honey roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, and sliced Swiss and cheddar wrapped in a sweet crepe tempura, fried, and served with berry compote, dusted with powdered sugar.
- Urban Chop House Steak + Eggs: A mouthwatering 16oz grass-fed ribeye, served with herb garlic compound butter and two brunch sides of choice.
With a focus on elevating classic Southern flavors, the menu also offers the option to add gourmet sides such as Cinnamon Sweet Potato Waffles, Southern Parmesan Truffle Potato Hash, Fried Green Tomatoes, Southern Slow Buttery Grits, and more!
Doves Restaurant, located at 3101 Main Street, is the brainchild of Fred Wilson of Wilson Hospitality Group and his partner Samuel Williamson of GoldCoast Properties. The new restaurant is making its mark on the Houston dining scene, seamlessly blending culinary sophistication, music, and cocktails in an upscale, yet welcoming, atmosphere. The gorgeous venue, designed by acclaimed interior designer Nicki Dooms, features seating for 94 guests, a second-level dining terrace, and a private outdoor patio, providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable brunch experience.
