Veteran Restauranteer Ventures Into Uncharted Territory with High-End Eatery
South Florida-based general contracting and construction management firm Eclipse Building Corp. began construction on Stellino’s Italian Trattoria & Bar, one of the eagerly awaited, five-star restaurants cherrypicked for Downtown Doral. A mixed-use space spanning 120 acres with 180,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 2,600 luxury residential units, public green space and a charter school, Downtown Doral is slated to be up and running this December.
Stellino’s Italian Trattoria & Bar, which will occupy more than 4,100 square feet, is the latest endeavor of veteran restaurateur Sal Stellino, who has been in the business since 1967. Although he has owned more than 35 Italian dining establishments over the last four decades, Stellino’s Italian Trattoria & Bar is Stellino’s first foray into the ever-changing world of fine dining.
