Set To Open New Location at Marquette University
College students need their food quick and on the go. Campus dining programs are geared toward their fast-paced academic lifestyle, and universities are consistently looking for tasty and nutritious options to meet the needs of their students and faculty members. That’s where Erbert & Gerbert’s Bistro excels. Erbert & Gerbert’s Bistro focuses on very unique flavors and offerings in both their sandwich and soup selections. This fall the sandwich shop will debut on the campus of Marquette University in their Alumni Memorial Union. “We’re thrilled to bring Flavor Nation to Marquette University,” said Eric Wolfe, President & CEO of Erbert & Gerbert’s. “Our goal is that through our fresh and delicious food and stellar customer service we can become a vital part of the campus community.”
Erbert & Gerbert’s Bistro was recently featured on Thrillist’s 33 Best College Sandwich Shops in America ranking, but they are much more than just a sandwich shop, offering a range of choices, including hot and cold sandwiches, gluten-free sandwiches, and hot soup. Erbert & Gerbert’s Bistro provides a fast, fresh, healthy and affordable meal to satisfy every student’s needs.
The Erbert & Gerbert’s development team has been working directly with Sodexo, the campus dining provider at Marquette, and is set to open on September 4, with a grand opening celebration planned in the coming weeks. Students will also be able to use aspects of their campus meal plans at the new location. “We are excited to have Erbert and Gerbert’s as a part of our dining program,” says Rick Arcuri, Director of Business Operations and Auxiliary Services for Marquette University’s Division of Student Affairs. “The response from students to the addition has been great and has added to the positive buzz about the changes we’ve made to our dining program.”
Erbert & Gerbert’s has hopes of expanding their collegiate presence in the future, having already opened three locations on Indiana University’s Bloomington campus and are currently in talks with several other universities across the country.
Founded in 1988 in Eau Claire, Wis., Erbert & Gerbert’s has grown to over 75 locations in nine states. Projections call for the opening of 20 new locations in 2014 toward the goal of 200 locations nationwide by the end of 2017. For franchising information, visit www.erbertandgerberts.com.
