Eric Wolfe, President and CEO of the popular Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop chain based in Eau Claire, announced today that Jeremy Mittlestadt, who has been with the company for eight years, has been promoted to a new job and title, Executive Director of Non-Traditional Division.
Mittlestadt has held many titles and responsibilities with E&G Franchise Systems, most recently as the Director of New Store Development where he worked closely with the construction and real estate departments within the company.
Mittlestadt holds a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and also served in the training department in E&G and as a business consultant helping franchisees get up and running. Overall, Jeremy has an impressive 21 years experience in the QSR segment.
It’s been a stellar year for Eau Claire based Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shops. The company is opening their 100th location in New Brighton, MN. on January 7th. The opening comes on the heels of solid growth for the midwest chain with Eric Wolfe at its helm.
Wolfe is a fan of the multi-unit franchisee but also saw great success in 2016 with non-traditional new sites such as The Minnesota Zoo and General Mills locations which both opened in the final quarter of 2016.
“We have plans to pursue many more locations on campuses and institutions,” said Wolfe. The reception to these new locations has been very encouraging and we are looking for good food service operators to partner with us on both these locations and in our new tradtional site locations as well. Jeremy will make a great contribution to this endeavor.”
Founded in 1988 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and themed originally from a child’s storybook, Erbert & Gerbert’s has grown to over 100 locations in the Midwest and surrounding areas, with locations ranging from urban centers to rural areas. For more info visit www.erbertandgerberts.com.
