Furr’s Fresh Buffet, the new restaurant concept developed by owners of the beloved Furr’s restaurant chain, announced their newest location will open Wednesday, June 27th at 1900 North Central Expressway in Plano, Texas. Local resident and restaurant veteran Paul White will manage the new Furr’s Fresh Buffet, which will employ over 100 team members from the community.
In celebration of the grand opening, Furr’s Fresh Buffet is collecting contributions on June 30th to donate to the North Texas Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids program. The first 100 guests on Saturday, June 30th who bring a donation will receive a complimentary breakfast buffet and will be entered to win free Furr’s Fresh Buffet meals for a year! To qualify for the free buffet and a chance to win Furr’s for a year, guests must be 18 years of age or older, should be one of the first 100 in line on Saturday, June 30th, when doors open at 7:30 a.m., and donate healthy, non-perishable single-serve items such as peanut butter, box of granola bars or fruit cups. The winner of the free Furr’s meals for a year, valued at over $750, will be announced after doors open at 7:30 a.m.
In addition to collecting food donations, Furr’s Fresh Buffet will donate a percentage of the first week’s sales proceeds directly to the North Texas Food Bank to celebrate the Food Bank’s 30th Anniversary, and kick-off “30 Days of Donations.” Furr’s will be collecting funds to donate to the charity for 30 days in honor of the Food Bank’s 30th Anniversary.

In addition to lunch and dinner, the new Furr’s Fresh Buffet in Plano will also offer a breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays.
