Charlotte, NC-based Hickory Tavern will open its newest South Carolina location and it 25th restaurant overall, at 4 pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. The new restaurant, located along the Grand Strand at the Coastal North Town Center, 1580 Highway 17 North in North Myrtle Beach, expands the brand’s footprint in The Palmetto State to six restaurants. Hickory Tavern also has S.C. locations in Columbia, Spartanburg, Indian Land, Rock Hill and Hilton Head, which opened earlier this year.

“With all of the exciting things going on in North Myrtle Beach, bringing our Hickory Tavern here made perfect sense for us.  And when we got the opportunity to take a spot in the Coastal North Town Center, we jumped on it!” said Hickory Tavern CMO Thom Perez. “Hickory Tavern will be like no other restaurant on the Grand Strand and at the same time, we’ll complement all of the other great bars and restaurants that make North Myrtle Beach one of the premier vacation destinations in the world.”

The 6,500 square-foot restaurant features a separate restaurant and bar area as well as a patio featuring a fire pit with seating available for approximately 90 guests.  Hickory Tavern offers approximately 100 beers, with 32 on tap, and will carry approximately 10 local craft beers at any one time.

While known for its sports passion, Hickory Tavern is very different from a traditional sports bar highlighted by it extensive and diverse menu. In addition to wings, burgers and signature sandwiches, guests will find Seared Ahi Tuna, Oysters, Lobster Roll, Shrimp & Grits, Crab Legs, Steamed Shrimp and three steak options on the menu. Hickory Tavern is also noted for its kids menu with 10 entrées and 10 sides options as well as the B.Y.O. Salad, a build-your own salad by choosing the type of leaf base, vegetables, fruit, cheese, crunches and proteins.

Hickory Tavern Myrtle Beach will be open from 11:00 am to midnight Sunday through Thursday and from 11 am – 2 am Friday and Saturday. Happy Hour is available weekdays from 4 – 7 pm.
