Hickory Tavern Raises Money for Veterans of Foreign Wars During Month of JulyHickory Tavern, the casually social neighborhood restaurant acclaimed for its sports passion, has teamed up with Yuengling to raise money for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) by donating five cents of each Yuengling pint sold during the month of July at all 24 Hickory Tavern locations.

“We are honored and proud to support the VFW and share in their vision to ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements and are recognized for the sacrifices they have made on behalf of this great country,” said Hickory Tavern CMO Thom Perez.

Also in July, each Hickory Tavern will have a Yuengling branded mirror at the entrance of the restaurant where all Veterans and Active Duty Military will be encouraged to sign the mirror and include their unit affiliation.

“We think the mirrors in our restaurants will be a further touch point and extension of support by bringing the community together to honor each other. We plan to find a permanent place for the mirror in each Hickory Tavern,” said Perez.
