Hickory Tavern today announced it will donate $.50 from every full order of chicken wings sold during the first two full weekends (Thursday – Sunday) of the March basketball tournament to Purple Heart Homes, which provides housing solutions to service-connected disabled veterans and their families.
“We are looking forward to the March Insanity at Hickory Tavern and there is simply no better place to watch the games,” said Hickory Tavern CMO Thom Perez. “We also wanted to take the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the veterans who make our very freedom possible and we felt partnering with Purple Heart Homes and providing a donation from our wing sales during the tournament was the ideal way to do that.”
