Ponderosa Franchising Company, a subsidiary of Homestyle Dining LLC, and its President and CEO Thomas A. Sacco today announced their first new franchise agreement to qualify under their International Franchise Association Minority Franchise Initiative, known as “MinorityFRAN”.
Heather L. Hopkins, owner of HLT Foods, LLC plans to open a Ponderosa Steakhouse restaurant in the Fayette Town Center Shopping Plaza in Fayetteville, West Virginia by the end of 2013.
“We are pleased to enter into this new relationship with Heather who shares our vision of continuing the growth of Ponderosa Steakhouse restaurants,” stated Sacco. “Heather is a successful businesswoman in West Virginia and we are proud to have her become our first franchisee under the MinorityFRAN initiative that we launched in April 2013 in partnership with the IFA.”

The IFA MinorityFRAN Program is designed to expand business ownership and franchise opportunities for women, veterans and minorities.
