Miss Hooters International 2013, Marissa Raisor, along with several other Hooters Calendar Girls presented a $10,000 check to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. The money was raised during a charity golf tournament hosted by the Hooters throughout South Florida.
“We appreciate the support Hooters provides to the children and families at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital,” says Kevin Janser, Sr. VP and Chief Development Officer of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Their golf tournament was a big success and the proceeds will go directly to programs that make children and families more comfortable while in the hospital.”
In addition to the monetary donation, Hooters is very active in supporting the hospital. Every month the local Hooters Girls visit with the children, participate in activities and bring food to the parents.
“Community is a cornerstone of our business and we are proud to be able to contribute funds and time to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital,” stated Kristi Quarles, Director of Marketing and Community Affairs for the Hooters of South Florida.
