All-American, Family-Friendly Diner Will Open its 4th Area Restaurant on Monday, March 21; Decorated Burger Joint to Donate 10% of First 3 Days’ Sales to the United Way of Horry County
Conway will soon welcome its new favorite burger joint as the highly-lauded Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries is opening the doors, and grills, at its fourth restaurant in Horry County.
On Monday, March 21st, Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries will welcome guests at its new location at 2246 East Highway 501. Hwy 55 has three other restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area and plans 50 new restaurants in South Carolina over the next 10 years.
“This great city is a delightful destination in its own right,” said Lance Denny, the Hwy 55 franchise owner for Conway. “This area has a quaint downtown, excellent schools and superb parks so Hwy 55’s family-friendly concept and dedication to authentic hospitality will fit right in.”
Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries boasts a fresh, All-American diner experience with fresh, never-frozen burgers, premium sliced cheesesteaks piled high on steamed hoagies, and frozen custard made in-house every day. With its open-grill design, the kitchen’s dedication and care when hand-crafting meals is front and center.
“Conway is a spectacular community that combines hometown charm with big-city amenities for its residents,” said Hwy 55 president and founder Kenney Moore. “At Hwy 55 we are dedicated to treat our team and guests right and provide them with a better experience, which goes hand-in-hand with Conway’s charm.”
In keeping with Hwy 55’s continued mission to give back to the communities it enters, the restaurant chain’s charitable organization, the Andy’s Foundation, and franchise owners will donate 10% of their sales the first three days (up to $1,000) to the United Way of Horry County, www.unitedwayhorry.org. United Way of Horry County improves lives by focusing on the building blocks of a good life: Education, Income, and Health. Through partners and programs, they find lasting solutions that help people get back on their feet. United Way of Horry County is run by a board of local people who know the community and its challenges first hand. They strive to meet those needs to improve the community as a whole.
