Acclaimed Japanese ramen restaurant to debut first restaurant in area on March 15
Real ramen culture is on its ways to the Alamo City as JINYA Ramen Bar gets set for its San Antonio opening March 15 to mark its first location in the area and 11th in Texas.
Located at 5311 N. Loop 1604 W, Ste. 101, right by the UTSA campus and TopGolf, the area’s new go-to ramen spot will offer more than a dozen acclaimed dishes that are slowly simmered for 20 hours to ensure a deep flavor that is sure to satisfy any tastebuds. Grand opening festivities begin with the first 50 guests in line at 11 a.m. receiving FREE ramen, and then again for the first 50 guests in line for dinner at 5 p.m.
“We know that San Antonio is known for its Tex-Mex cuisine, but we believe the city has room for delectable noodles slow-cooked in thick and rich broth,” said JINYA Founder and CEO Tomo Takahashi. “We are so excited to be able to bring our unique recipes and establish ramen culture in this city. Everyone has been so welcoming and we can’t wait to celebrate with such a great community at the grand opening.”
Once open, the regular hours for the new JINYA location will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Also, be sure to celebrate National Noodle Month by checking out the March Chef’s Specials, featuring Suan-La-Tang Tsukemen Dipping Noodles. These thick noodles are served with a side of hot and sour pork broth, topped with pork soboro, green onion, shiitake mushroom, bamboo shoot, seasoned egg, bok choy, nori, sesame seed and lime. It’s the perfect dish to party in style for National Eat Your Noodles Day.
