Lazy Lobster Ramps Up Sales Efforts for Seafood Restaurant Franchise

Lazy Lobster, a locally loved New York-based casual dining restaurant celebrated for its fresh seafood and delicious menu, is thrilled to announce its plans to ramp up sales efforts for its franchise expansion. The company has teamed up with Atlanta-based franchise development firm, Franchise Marketing Systems, to push growth and bring the Lazy Lobster experience to more seafood enthusiasts across the U.S.

The company is seeking to add locations throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida. Lazy Lobster’s CEO Paul Pandolfi commented on the restaurant’s differentiators and attractiveness as a business model.

“Lazy Lobster is a fantastic business due to the values we have established and cultivated. Those values resonate in our tagline – Eat. Drink. Get Lazy. The business model, product, and atmosphere created by the experience is something that appeals to all audiences,” describes Pandolfi. “Franchisees are not only gaining an opportunity with vast potential and marketability, they are gaining a brand backed by our support team who are focused on helping them establish their location within the community and grow it steadily.”

Since its inception, Lazy Lobster has captivated visitors with its fresh seafood offerings and an exciting, inviting atmosphere. The company currently operates two successful locations. Lazy Lobster kicked off its legacy flag ship location in 2016 at a waterside location in East Rockaway, New York. The second location, opened September, 2022, and offers the Lazy Lobster experience in a smaller retail experience all year long, is located in Massapequa, NY.

The restaurant has become well-known for its signature Connecticut Lobster Roll, made warm with homemade citrus butter and topped with tarragon, complemented by the fresh lobster bisque with generous chunks of fresh lobster meat. Another fan-favorite is the Shrimp Po Boy, featuring large butterfly shrimp on a toasted Hawaii sweet roll, garnished with crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and the restaurant’s signature homemade Boom Boom sauce.

Franchise partners gain a fun, high-demand concept complete with training, support, vendor connections, recipes, and branding. The company offers several models, including a food truck model, explains Pandolfi, all of which capture the Lazy Lobster essence and produce a firm customer base.

“Lazy Lobster creates an atmosphere of casual dining, outstanding food, impeccable customer service, and a friendly environment, whether the model is the biergarten or retail brick and mortar,” he said. “We are a customer-friendly restaurant where people can experience a fantastic menu of offerings in a clean and inviting environment, and just relax and enjoy the food.”

While seafood and lobster rolls are the core of the business model, the owners demand and use only fresh ingredients and offer several other great menu items including tacos, appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and their famous 48-hour wings which are brined, crisped and tossed.
