Rogue wild-caught seafood gastropub now open in the Shops at Legacy

'Look What Just Flew In' To Plano: The Keeper Has ArrivedOne of the most-anticipated new dining destinations in North Texas has just opened in the Shops at Legacy.

The Keeper is an unprecedented, fresh and vibrant, wild-caught seafood restaurant. With fish flown in daily from around the globe, discriminating seafood lovers can expect captivating recipes and an incredible dining experience every time they visit.

“We are carving our own path; we do our own research, we travel, we shake hands and make deals that ensure we’re bringing home the best value to our guests,” said Judd Fruia, Director of Operations at The Keeper. “We go beyond great quality, service, execution and value to provide a memorable dining experience that is welcoming and approachable, yet inventive and unexpected. We’re never satisfied, always seeking to improve our process and your experience.”

The Keeper has gone rogue and is taking the traditional seafood restaurant and turning it on its head. With an active bar, open kitchen, buzzing patio and unique seating arrangements that offer both intimacy and flow, the restaurant is the natural choice for all occasions. The Keeper is the perfect escape. As they say, “It’s Good Not To Be Home.”

The Keeper’s bartenders are the Titans of Tiki, dedicated to keeping the bar offerings new and exciting. Guests will find reimagined Polynesian cocktails sourced with the same attention to detail as the food, premium rums, and beer and wine that pairs perfectly with the wide array of seafood dishes.

The restaurant’s team members are foodies who love seafood and spirits and share a desire to learn everything they can so they can relay that knowledge to their guests. To foster their passion, The Keeper hosts tastings with top sommeliers, organizes Q&As with fishermen and chefs from around the world and even makes travel possible to visit and learn with the restaurant’s global suppliers.

The new restaurant is located at 5840 Legacy Circle in Plano. Monday through Thursday the kitchen will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the bar will stay open until 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday the kitchen will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and the bar will be open until 12 midnight.
