LRI Holdings, Inc., the Parent Company of Logan’s Roadhouse, Inc., Welcomes New Chief Marketing Officer

LRI Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Logan’s Roadhouse, Inc., today announced the addition of Todd Townsend as Chief Marketing Officer. He will lead the Marketing and Product Development teams with responsibility for advertising, merchandising, brand strategy, menu, food development and quality control.

Townsend brings a wealth of national consumer marketing experience with him. He started his career with the Leo Burnett Company, where he worked on the Pillsbury, Kellogg’s and Miller Lite advertising accounts.  He was the Chief Marketing Officer for Sonic Drive In, where his team delivered same store sales growth for three consecutive fiscal years, supported by the popular, “Two Guys” advertising campaign, the expansion of beverage offerings into specialty coffees, flavored teas and juices and multiple digital marketing initiatives.

His marketing expertise was also valued at several communications and digital marketing corporations including Sprint, Yahoo! and Qwest Communications, where he led e-commerce and consumer marketing.  Most recently, Townsend was the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Time Warner Cable, Inc., where he led all marketing and sales initiatives for the Eastern U.S.

Townsend received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Marketing from Oklahoma State University and a Master’s degree in Advertising from Northwestern University.
