Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shops announced today that they have been named to Franchise Times 200 + list which ranks the 500 largest franchises. The list was created by the popular franchise trade publication 20 years ago to rank the Top 200 largest franchises. It has been so well received the publisher has grown the list to currently include the largest 500 franchise systems based on their worldwide system sales and locations.
“We are thrilled to be a part of this prestigious ranking,” said the company’s CEO and President, Eric Wolfe. “Our growth has been assertive in the past 18 months, adding institutional locations as well as multi-unit restaurant operators to our family at a steady pace.”
Businessman Eric Wolfe led an investment group to acquire the company in 2004. With an ambitious long-term vision for Erbert & Gerbert’s, Wolfe has added highly experienced professionals to oversee operations, marketing, brand opportunities, new store openings and training. With these support systems in place, the brand is well positioned for strong growth. Wolfe has a history of building up small companies and since taking over the 23-restaurant chain, Wolfe and team have opened 75 locations.
Founded in 1988 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and themed originally from a child’s storybook, Erbert & Gerbert’s has grown to over 98 locations in twelve states, with locations ranging from urban centers to rural areas. For more info visit www.erbertandgerberts.com.
