McDonald's Announces Player Nominations, Ticket Sales for 2015 McDonald's All American GamesToday, McDonald’s announced the list of high school seniors nominated for the 2015 McDonald’s All American Games, taking place on April 1 at Chicago’s United Center. The nominees from across the country are now eligible to make the final team of 24 boys and 24 girls that will be selected to play in the 2015 Games. The final teams will be announced during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU on Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. CT.

Nationally, 823 players from 47 states and the District of Columbia were nominated for the 2015 McDonald’s All American Games. California topped the list of states with the most nominated players with 99, followed by Florida (67), Texas (63) and Georgia (36). Players were nominated by high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee. 2015 McDonald’s All American Games Tickets and Behind the Scenes Fan Experience

Fans interested in attending the McDonald’s All American Games at the United Center on April 1 can purchase tickets beginning Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. CT. In conjunction with tickets going on sale, fans who purchase a ticket on Ticketmaster.com prior to Feb. 17 will be automatically entered for a chance to win the first-ever McDonald’s All American Games Behind the Scenes Fan Experience. The sweepstakes will allow 10 lucky fans and a guest to get a behind the scenes look at the 2015 team in action while they are in Chicago. The exclusive experience includes: access to a closed practice and scrimmage, media day, Games merchandise and a program book. “The greatest players in basketball have one thing in common; they played in the McDonald’s All American Game,” said Douglas Freeland, director of the McDonald’s All American Games. “We’re thrilled to showcase the nation’s prep stars in Chicago — one of the great sports cities — for a fifth consecutive year.”

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or charge-by-phone at 1-866-909-GAME (4263). Ticket prices start as low as $10, and are also available in a popular family four-pack which includes four tickets, four soft drinks and four hot dogs — all for $53. Parking is free the night of the Games.

Net proceeds from the Games benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Since its inception, the McDonald’s All American Games have raised more than $11 million for the Charity, which supports the critical needs of children and families during a difficult time. The 38th Annual McDonald’s All American Games will tip-off on Wednesday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m. CT from Chicago’s United Center.
