After much anticipation, the new Winter Springs, Florida Perkins Restaurant & Bakery has opened its doors for business. Situated at 701 E. State Road 434, the restaurant serves as an anchor store for the vibrant retail center developed in 2014 by business partners and entrepreneurs, Kamil Gowni and Rajendra Shah.
Shortly after signing on as Perkins franchisees in 2015, dba as K&R Invesco, Gowni and Shah set forth plans to open a Perkins Restaurants & Bakery. Nearly four months after breaking ground, their vision has been realized as they welcome guests to their beautiful new 4,800 square foot Perkins restaurant that seats 157, offers patio dining for 50+ more, and features Perkins legendary breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and bake shop point of difference.
Mr. Gowni comments, “After investigating all of the family dining concepts, we selected Perkins because of its rich history yet strong contemporary appeal. The new Perkins is open seven days a week from 6 AM – 10 PM Monday through Thursday, and from 6 AM – Midnight, Friday and Saturday. Perkins legendary breakfast menu including items such as omelettes and buttermilk pancakes are available all day; a full line up of lunch and dinner items and Perkins freshly prepared bakery products are also being offered, along with special seniors’ and kids’ menus.
