The Craft Beer Authority Brings Its World Class Craft Beer and Delicious Flavor — Along With a Good Cause – to Overland Park Residents This September
Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, a traditional casual dining restaurant known for its delicious, hand crafted pizza and world class craft beer list, will open its new location in Corbin Park, at 6815 W. 135th Street, Overland Park, KS 66223 on September 5th. This store opening will be the 8th Old Chicago in Kansas, and the 106th location nationwide.
Guests can order three hand-crafted dough options, including Chicago Thick, a Tavern Thin and an Ale-Infused dough that highlight the ten specialty pizzas on the menu. Famous taproom starters such as the Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls, and the one-of-a-kind Italian Nachos will also be sure to delight Overland Park visitors.
With over 40 draft beers available, more than 90 craft beers available on the menu and a beer expert always on staff, The Craft Beer Authority has something for everyone! All menu items will be available daily until 1:00a.m., and the restaurant will be open daily until 2:00a.m.
“We are excited to bring our new location to S. Overland Park. Being the Craft Beer Authority is allowing us to bring in some of the most unique beers available from some of the best national and local breweries. Since 1976 we’ve been serving handcrafted pizzas every day. That is expertise you can taste!” states General Manager Jake Stricker of the restaurant opening.
More importantly, one restaurant staple that will not be on the menu is their strong commitment to giving back to its community. Not only will Old Chicago be joining the restaurant scene in Overland Park, but it will also be joining the city’s commitment to offer its residents a better and brighter future by partnering with KidsTLC. Old Chicago is donating proceeds from its pre-opening events on August 31st to September 2nd to the local nonprofit. Representatives from KidsTLC will be on-site during all three of Old Chicago’s pre-opening dinners to spread the word and help raise charitable contributions. In addition, from 9/5/17-9/17/17, Old Chicago will donate $1 from every Chicago 7 pizza sold, plus 10% off all online to-go orders (using promo code KidsTLC) to add to the KidsTLC donation total. “Come visit our new location and help us achieve our goal of raising over $5k for KidsTLC” states Stricker.
Also, to celebrate the upcoming opening, Old Chicago will be offering free pizza for a year to the first 100 guests on opening day (doors open at 11am on September 5, 2017).
