On The Border Celebrates Mexican Independence Day with $2 House Margaritas

OTB Salutes the Spirit of Freedom with Mexico’s Signature Cocktail on Saturday, September 16th

On The Border Celebrates Mexican Independence Day with $2 House MargaritasContrary to popular belief that Cinco de Mayo is Mexican Independence Day – it was actually September 16, 1890 that the vibrant culture who gave us delicious cuisine and zesty margaritas became its own country. In honor of that day, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina will be featuring $2 house margaritas in restaurants on September 16th.

“From our house margaritas, to our signature mesquite-grilled fajitas, to our classic salsa and Guacamole Live! On The Border is all about authentic Mexican flavor,” explained Ashley Zickefoose, Chief Marketing Officer for OTB. “And that begins with honoring Mexican Independence Day with its own fiesta right here in our restaurants with $2 House Margaritas.”

All day on Saturday, September 16th, guests may enjoy a zesty, frozen, lime-and-tequila margarita at OTB for just $2 each. No additional order is required, though guests are welcome to enjoy unlimited complimentary chips and salsa, or pair their margarita with sizzling Fajitas or an order of OTB’s “crave-worthy” Southwest Chicken Tacos.

“Whether you’re a long-time fan of our classic margarita or you love authentic Mexican cuisine and cocktails as much as we do, On The Border is the place for spirited fun, food, and good time with friends. And at just $2 per margarita, you’re free to fiesta without breaking your budget.”

$2 House Margaritas at On The Border are available in restaurant only. Valid on September 16, 2017 only. Price and participation may vary. Void where prohibited by law. Dine-in only. Must be 21 or older to drink alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.
