SoupMan, Inc. (OTCBB:SOUP), the nation’s long-adored and iconic premium soup brand, today announced that it will be exhibiting at the 2012 Multi-Unit Franchising Conference at The Mirage in Las Vegas, NV from April 23rd to April 26th.
The Original SoupMan is focused on expanding its soup and authentic New York deli restaurant concept in casinos and airports across the country. The conference attracts multi-concept franchise owners from systems such as Subway, Tim Horton’s, Dunkin Brands, Jersey Mike’s and many other food brands looking for the opportunity to identify the most exciting concepts poised for national success. The Original SoupMan’s powerful brand awareness and famous award-winning soups are expected to be a big draw this year, as they have in the past.
“We are thrilled to be a participating in the 11th Annual Multi-Unit Franchising Conference. Original SoupMan is looking to partner with sophisticated multi-unit operators, who recognize the potential the brand represents,” said Arnold Casale, CEO, SoupMan, Inc. “This year, our team includes two important new partners: Shaquille O’Neal and Jason Alexander. Shaq and Jason join Hall of Fame Legend, Reggie Jackson, as our SoupMan brand champions to help promote our soups wherever our brand is sold; whether in our SoupMan soup and authentic New York deli restaurants; the restaurants of strategic partners that sell our soups or supermarkets nationwide in our new shelf-stable packaging,” added Casale.
“I’ll be here to tell the story of our strong results at my Mohegan Sun Casino SoupMan restaurant location and new SoupMan restaurants I’m opening,” said Lloyd Sugarman, the legendary co-founder of Johnny Rockets Hamburgers, Original SoupMan franchisee and the Company’s Area Developer for Casinos.
The attendees of the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference include Empire builders who have reported over 4 Billion dollars in annual system-wide revenue and of which 70% are believed to be looking to add more units and brands.
In 1984, The Original SoupMan opened its doors at 55th Street & 8th Avenue in Manhattan. The tiny storefront quickly became a worldwide destination. The Company’s franchise operations include highly visible locations in the Mohegan Sun Casinos and more. The Company’s branded soup is also being offered by Tim Horton’s, Earl of Sandwich and other leading QSRs. Original SoupMan products are now available in innovative shelf-stable cartons for sale in the soup aisle of major supermarket chains in September 2012.
