Mobile’s latest Outback Steakhouse offers a taste of the new “Modern Australia.” The new restaurant opens November 13 at 4017 Airport Boulevard and will replace the Outback at 901 Montlimar Drive, which closed Nov. 10. The new location is the first in the area to feature a new building design both inside and out. It will also serve lunch daily at 11:00 a.m.
“We’re very excited and can’t wait for everyone to see our new restaurant,” said Steven Harris, Managing Partner. “It has a contemporary feel with a relaxed ambiance with the same great food and attentive service.”
The new design features an outdoor patio with heavy timber detailing and louvers and screens. The dining room features decor that accents the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure and leisure of modern Australia. The energetic bar is a place to enjoy specialty beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails with friends.
The new Mobile location will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Mobile Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, November 13 at 10:30 a.m. prior to the lunchtime opening. To show its support of the local communities, 50 percent of the Mobile Outback’s opening day sales (up to $5,000.00) will benefit the University of South Alabama Children’s & Women’s Hospital to support the unique healthcare needs of women and children.
