Ovation Brands Conducts System-Wide Focus on Service with Hospitality WeekOvation Brandsand its portfolio of family-casual restaurants including Ryan’s, HomeTown Buffet, Old Country Buffet, Country Buffet, and Fire Mountain- will be rallying all its team- from restaurant employees to corporate staff- to focus on hospitality as part of its first-ever Hospitality Week. During the first week of November, all 324 family-style restaurants and corporate offices in Greer, SC and Eagan, MN will be participating in activities that reinforce each brand’s dedication to manager hospitality. Restaurants closed for one hour early on November 3 to ensure all crewmembers were trained via special training videos led by COO Greg Graber and CEO Anthony Wedo.

“We have placed an incredible emphasis behind our hospitality-initiative including specialized training programs for virtually every position within the restaurant,” said Greg Graber, COO for Ovation Brands. “Excellent hospitality enhances our “Made Fresh for You” individual entrees in our Buffet brands and the “Southern Family Goodness” traditional southern food in our Ryan’s locations. That is why we are taking the extraordinary step to ensure every crew member has completed our training and signed the “Hospitality Pledge” to ensure we deliver on our promise to each guest.”

The “promise” is an experiential guarantee that the company is rolling out in all of its television advertising, featuring CEO Anthony Wedo offering to guests that the company will “make it right” if any aspect of the meal is not being delivered to satisfaction. The brands are using their advertising and a “service guarantee” to back up the food, experience and now, the hospitality as well.

”Our brand guarantee, as featured in our stores and in our advertising campaigns, signals to our teams as well as our guests that we stand firm to these standards,” said Anthony Wedo, CEO for Ovation Brands. “The hospitality message is one that rings loud and clear throughout our enterprise.”
