Award winning, fresh, take and bake pizza chain’s Colorado stores held fundraiser.
Papa Murphy’s Denver area stores recently raised $12,000 for local charity Sense of Security.
For the fourth year in a row the 56 Metro Denver, Northern and Eastern Colorado stores conducted a “dough raising” fundraiser where a portion of pizza sales were donated.
The recipient, the non-profit Sense of Security founded in 2000, provides financial assistance to Colorado breast cancer patients, while in treatment.
Todd Kennedy, President of the Denver Papa Murphy’s co-op of stores, recognized the loyal Papa Murphy customers, the store owners and crews for another successful fundraiser.
“We were overwhelmed this year by the number of customers participating; we certainly sold a lot of pizzas for the cause. And with all the hard work from everyone at Papa Murphy’s we had a record year for the “dough raiser”.”
