Trend-setting fast-casual pizza chain set to open area’s first location on Dec. 12
The wait is finally over for pizza lovers throughout Houston, as Space City’s first Pie Five Pizza Co. restaurant is set to open in Spring this Friday.
Area residents will officially welcome the trend-setting pizza eatery, located at 21460 Kuykendahl Rd. – at the corner of Northcrest Drive near Cinemark Theatre – at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec 12. The opening marks the area’s introduction to handcrafted, personalized pizzas using only the freshest ingredients, baked to order at one great price. The “five” in Pie Five means it all happens in five minutes or less!
“Pie Five is changing the way people experience pizza all across the country, thanks to our focus on high-quality ingredients, infinite variety, speed of service and great prices. There’s truly nothing else out there quite like it,” said Chris Smith, senior vice president of Pie Five Pizza. “We have been preparing for our Houston launch for several months, and we can’t wait to finally blast off in Spring this Friday.”
At Pie Five, guests can choose from more than a million combinations of handcrafted personal pizzas and a variety of specialty pie choices, all for one affordable price. Add a hand-made salad and dessert, prepared fresh every day, and the entire meal will be ready in less than five minutes. Official grand opening festivities for the new location will kickoff with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 pm on Friday, Dec. 19. In addition, 104.1 KRBE will be onsite from 6-8 p.m., complete with food and merchandise giveaways. Pie Five is also partnering with the Sunshine Kids Foundation and will be donating 50 percent of proceeds from pre-opening training events to the charity at an event in January.
