Pizza Rustica signs Master Franchise Agreement
Pizza Rustica, which serves high quality pizza by the slice and whole pie, along with sandwiches and healthy salads, has signed a Master Franchise Agreement with Somos Rusticos, S. A. P. I. de C. U. to open Pizza Rustica units in Mexico.
“We are looking forward to introduce the Pizza Rustica brand to our neighbor Mexico”, says Pino Piroso founder of Pizza Rustica, “and we are very pleased to open our initial units in a first rate location like Mexico City where our delicious, top quality pizza will be a perfect fit.”
The first units will be opened in Mexico City in 2014, with additional units opening both in the capital and throughout Mexico. Pizza Rustica, founded in 1996 in South Beach, is looking to expand it’s international presence. Due to the diverse customer base it serves in a world class tourist destination like South Beach, opening in Mexico is a natural step to expand the concept to the Latin American market.
Pizza Rustica is best known for serving authentic “pizza a taglio” (by the slice) like those offered on the streets of Rome. Rustica’s artisanal pizzas are made fresh in house with uncompromising quality ingredients, homemade dough, 100% grade A cheese and pure recipes with no additives, preservatives or trans fats.
Piroso adds, “high quality pizza at affordable prices is a concept that will surely be embraced in the highly coveted Mexican market.”
Headquartered in South Beach, Florida, Pizza Rustica is a pizza restaurant operating and highly selective franchising company. Founded in 1996, Pizza Rustica has 15+ restaurants located throughout the world, most of them owned by independent franchisees. Among its many accolades, Pizza Rustica has been “Rated Excellent!” by Trip Advisor, named “Best of Miami” by the Miami New Times, and featured in the New York Times, Food Network and E! Entertainment Television.
