“We are excited to join the Auraria campus at MSU Denver’s new Hospitality Learning Center,” said Stephanie Griffiths, the general manager of the MSU Denver Burger Works restaurant. “In addition to serving students and faculty in a way that fits well with the fast-paced campus lifestyle, we’re excited to bring our signature flavors to guests staying at the new SpringHill Suites located at MSU Denver.”
The newest Red Robin’s Burger Works will serve as the only commercial dining option at the Hotel and Hospitality Learning Center which features the SpringHill Suites® Denver Downtown at MSU Denver. The new $45 million Hotel and Hospitality Learning Center also offers more than 28,000 square feet of academic space including classrooms, specialty learning labs and faculty offices. In addition to the Burger Works restaurant located at the new facility, Red Robin International, Inc. is supporting the new Hospitality Learning Center with a $50,000 commitment over the next three years.
“We’re hungry for Red Robin’s Burger Works to open on campus at the new Hotel and Hospitality Learning Center,” said Chad Gruhl, department chair of the Hospitality, Tourism and Events program. “My vision for the center was to bring in a restaurant that will provide opportunities for our students to learn about fast casual business operations, and Burger Works is a perfect fit. Whether students are patrons or employees, we look forward to having them eat and enjoy creating signature burgers right here on the MSU Denver campus.”
The MSU Denver restaurant will be the fifth Red Robin’s Burger Works in the U.S. and the fourth in Colorado, including The Shops at Northfield Stapleton, Denver’s 16th Street Mall and near the University of Colorado Boulder.
