Next week, Boulder will get its first taste of a fiery, fast and mouth-watering burger experience – a place where burger lovers craft their own fire-grilled creations from many of the fresh and unique ingredients that made Red Robin restaurants famous. Today, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (Red Robin) announced the grand opening of Red Robin’s Burger Works on Monday, August 6, at 11 a.m. near the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder at 2700 Arapahoe Avenue, Unit 370 on 28th Street and Arapahoe Avenue. Hours for Red Robin’s Burger Works are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Red Robin’s Burger Works puts guests in the driver’s seat with a build-your-own-burger option that allows every guest to craft their own burger masterpiece using a wide variety of toppings including sauteed portabella mushrooms, beer mustard onions or Thai chili ketchup. Guests also have the option to enjoy classic Red Robin burgers, like the Banzai Burger or the 5 Alarm Burger, or sample a number of new menu items such as hand-breaded chicken tenders, signature salads and hand-dipped milkshakes.
“We are excited to open Red Robin’s Burger Works just off of the CU campus and serve our craveable fire-grilled burgers to our neighbors at the school and the surrounding Boulder community,” said Scott Berghane, the new restaurant’s general manager. “We think the students, faculty and the Boulder community will love the ability to get Red Robin’s innovative burgers in a fresh and fast way that fits well with their busy lifestyles.”
The Boulder location will be the fourth Red Robin’s Burger Works in the U.S. and the third in Colorado; other restaurant locations include The Shops at Northfield Stapleton, Denver’s 16th Street Mall and The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
