Atlanta, GA-based FIRE OF BRAZIL (founded 2002) has increased by 1 unit for the Fire of Brazil concept, from 3 to 4 (33% growth).  The company also operates a 1-unit concept called Jalapeno Charlie’s.  Overall company increase was from 4 to 5 (25% company growth).  Fire of Brazil is an upscale Brazilian steakhouse, open for lunch and dinner, with a $15-$50+ per person check average.  Jalapeno Charlie’s is a family/casual Mexican concept, with an $8-$20+ per person check average.  The restaurants have full bar service and seating for about 200.  Private party services are available.  Trading areas are GA, El Salvador and Panama.

Chicago, IL-based PROTEIN BAR (founded 2009) has increased by 1 unit, from 19 to 20 (5% growth).  This fast casual sandwich shop is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $6-$15+ per person price range.  Stores seat about 60 and offer catering and online ordering services.  Trading areas are CO, DC and IL.

New York-based CRAZY OTTO’S DINER has increased by 1 unit, from 7 to 8 (14% growth) and entered into CO.  The restaurants are family/casual, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Per person price range is $6-$15+, serving beer and wine and seating about 125.  Catering, banquet and online ordering services are available.  Trading areas are AZ, CA, CO and NY.

Austin, TX-based DELAWARE SUB SHOP (founded 1980) has increased by 1 unit, from 3 to 4 (33% growth).  The stores are fast casual, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Per person price range is $6-$15+ and offers catering and delivery services.  Average seating is for about 30.  All the locations are in TX.

Atlanta, GA-based 101 CONCEPTS (founded 1997) has increased by 2 units for the Meehan’s Ale House concept, from 3 to 5 (67% concept growth) and added 2 new concepts called Paradis and Smoke Ring.  Overall company increase was from 5 to 9 (80% growth).  With the opening of Paradis, the company now operates in FL.  The restaurants are upscale, serving multiple cuisine types.  Per person price range is $15-$50+, with full bar and average seating for about 150.  Catering and banquet services are available.  Trading areas are FL and GA.

Winnipeg, MB-based CHICKEN DELIGHT (founded 1952) has increased by 3 units, from 18 to 21 (17% growth).  This quick serve chicken concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Units seat about 10 and offer drive-thru and catering options.  Trading areas are MB, ON and SK.

West Palm Beach, FL-based HURRICANE GRILL & WINGS (founded 1995) has increased by 10 units, from 60 to 70 (17% growth) and entered into TN.  The restaurants are family/casual, open for lunch and dinner, with an $8-$20+ per person check average.  Locations have full bar service and seating for around 100.  Catering is available.  The restaurants are franchised and trade in AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, MD, MN, NC, NY, TN and TX.  We wrote about this concept on 12/3/13 (10% growth) and on 4/22/14 (7% growth).
