Basking Ridge, NJ-based GROWTH RESTAURANTS INC (founded 1972) has increased by 1 unit for the Thirsty Turtle concept, from 1 to 2 (100% concept growth).  Other company concepts include Famished Frog (1) and Meadow Wood Manor (1).  Overall company increase was from 3 to 4 (33% growth).  The restaurants serve American cuisine, open for lunch and dinner, with a $10-$30+ per person check average.  The concepts have full bar service and average seating for about 200.  Catering and banquet facilities are available.  All the restaurants are located in NJ.

Kenner, LA-based BUD’S BROILER (founded 1952) has increased by 1 unit, from 7 to 8 (14% growth).  This quick serve burger concept is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Locations serve beer and seat about 40.  All the restaurants are located in LA.

Gulf Shores, AL-based SHRIMP BASKET (founded 1993) has increased by 3 units for the Shrimp Basket concept, from 21 to 24 (14% concept growth).  Other company concepts are Mikee’s Seafood (1) and The Steamer Baked Oyster Bar (1).  Overall company increase was from 23 to 26 (13% company growth). The restaurants are family/casual seafood concepts, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $8-$20+, with seating for about 125.  Beer and wine are served.  The restaurants are located in AL, FL and MS.

Fayetteville, AR-based SLIM CHICKENS (founded 2003) has increased by 26 units, from 27 to 53 (96% growth) and entered into AZ, IL, LA and TN.  This fast casual concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Seating is for about 90 and catering is offered.  Locations are franchised and trade in AR, AZ, IL, KS, LA, MO, NE, OK, TN and TX.

Other company concepts include: 3 Squares Restaurant (1), Edina Grill (1), Groveland Tap (1), Highland Grill (1), Longfellow Grill (1), The Freehouse (1) and The Lowry (1). These family style restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving American cuisine. Per person check average is $8-$20+, with full bar service. Seating is for about 150. The restaurants are all in MN.

Plano, TX-based ROYAL CHOPSTIX (founded 2012) has increased by 3 units for the Pho Que Huong concept, from 9 to 12 (33% concept growth). The company also operates the Royal Chopstix concept (5 units). Overall company increase was from 14 to 17 (21% company growth).
