South Point Hotel serves-up several specialty lunchtime offerings to provide local foodies with affordable midday dining options, including meals at lunch at Big Sur Oyster Bar for $7.95, Coronado Café for $7.95 and Baja Miguel’s for $9.95 and four meals under $4 at Steak ‘n Shake.
The hotel’s eclectic comfort foods and neighborhood atmosphere provide diners with an experience that is both worldly and inexpensive. With dining options such as festive Mexican restaurants and cozy cafes, the dining hot spot caters to all appetites.
Big Sur Oyster Bar
Big Sur Oyster Bar offers guests a $7.95 lunch special serving a variety of options to select from including Shrimp Alfred, Pasta Primavera with Shrimp, Fish Tacos, Shrimp Jambalaya, Red Snapper Creole Style, Oyster Po’ Boy and Bayou Burger. In addition, Big Sur Oyster Bar features half-price oysters and clams on the half shell. Guests can slurp down freshly shucked Louisiana Gold Seal Oysters as the chefs work in an open kitchen creating an exciting dining experience. These specials are available Monday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m.
Coronado Café Daily Specials
Coronado Café offers a $7.95 daily special with a wide selection of meals to enjoy. Monday features a delicious Roast Loin of Pork or a Classic Chef’s Salad; Tuesday’s menu includes an Oven Baked Homemade Meatloaf or a Greek Chicken Salad; Wednesday offers the option of a Swiss Steak or a Barbeque Chicken Salad; Thursday serves a Chicken a la King or a Grilled Steak Salad; Friday’s menu serves a Seafood Creole or a Citrus Glazed Chicken Salad; Saturday includes a Flat Iron Steak or Chicken Bruschetta; Sunday offers the choice of a Roasted Turkey or a Tequila Lime Chicken Bake. Guests may add a cup of soup or house salad for an additional $3.These specials are available daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Baja Miguel’s Lunch Special
South Point’s Baja Miguel’s offers a $9.95 lunch special beginning with a complimentary frozen margarita paired with an appetizing Fideo soup. For the main entrée, guests will have the option to select two items from a menu featuring enchiladas, flautas, tacos or chili relleno. All entrées will be served with Mexican rice and refried beans. The lunch special is available Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Steak ‘n Shake
Steak ‘n Shake offers a variety of meals that won’t leave diners stomachs or wallets empty. Diners may select from four meals under $4 including a Double n’ Cheese Steakburger, Single Bacon Cheese Steakburger, Chicken Fingers and Triple Steakburger. Each menu item includes an order of fries and rings up at $3.99 plus tax. These specials are available Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to midnight or Friday and Saturday 11 to 1 a.m.
