All-American breakfast and lunch concept remains franchisee-minded for expansion plans
The Big Biscuit, a modern All-American breakfast and lunch franchise concept known for its classic comfort food served with genuine hometown hospitality, is on the rise and doing it on their terms. The company is led by father-and-son duo David and Chad Offerdahl who now serve as Co-CEOs. The brand was recently named one of the 5 Breakout Brands by Franchise Times, as they secured their place for the first time this year on the Franchise 400 list. This brand achieved $35.6 million in sales last year from 23 locations, of which nearly 75% are company owned.
Now, as the company expands their presence, including their recent entry to Arkansas with new franchise partners, marking location number 30 across four states, the father-and-son duo are steadfast on keeping the company their own. In 2023, The Big Biscuit served over 100,000 Guests per location (and, all before 2:30 pm daily), so that franchisees could be back home with their families for dinner.

To further support their growth efforts, the company is also strengthening its leadership. They recently announced the promotion of President Chad Offerdahl to President and Co-CEO, and Marita Swift, who most recently served as VP, Brand Strategy, is now VP, Strategic Growth.
