Centennial, CO-based The Egg & I Restaurants announces the opening of its 82nd restaurant, its 25th in Colorado, on Monday, June 24th. The restaurant opens at 6:00 a.m., and is located at 733 N. Academy Blvd., just east of the Citadel Mall in the Citadel Crossing Shopping Center.
On June 23rd, the restaurant will donate 100% of all proceeds from its private, pre-opening training day to The Marian House Soup Kitchen. The Marian House has been serving people who are hungry in downtown Colorado Springs since 1985. Hot, nutritious meals are provided for more than 600 people most days and towards the middle and end of the month, the number of meals served increases to 700+ on most days. “We are pleased to partner with The Egg & I Restaurant and are grateful for their continued support,” says Janet Hutchinson, Director of Development for Catholic Charities of Central Colorado.
