After nearly ten years at its original location local retail and restaurant point of sale equipment and software supplier Total Merchant Supply is throwing a “Re-Grand Opening” party Aug 22 and 23 to celebrate its recent relocation and store expansion . While still located at the same strip center on South Boulevard where the business began in April 2003, business growth and available space at the strip center combined to present an opportunity to increase office and showroom space by nearly 1000 sq ft.
“The old store just one storefront away was getting cramped” stated Managing Partner Dwane Walton. “When this space opened up early last winter we saw that it offered the ability to increase our showroom, office and tech space to meet the increasing needs of our business without changing our basic address.”
Total Merchant Supply has supplied over 1000 Charlotte area restaurants and retailers with pos touch screen computer systems, business management software, cash registers, bar code scanners and other peripherals, credit card terminals, check imagers and merchant accounts. “Our focus is on value added local service along with an emphasis on new and economical point of sale solutions for the savvy business owner” said Walton. To that point, some of the systems showcased during the celebration will feature new iPad and Cloud POS technology. A number of Total Merchant Supply’s different product lines will be demonstrated by vendor representatives during the event. Among them will be SAM4S Cash Registers, Printers and All-In-One Touch Screen POS; and Pioneer POS featuring Asterix Dash All-In-One rugged Windows based Touch-Tablet for POS and Stealth Touch All-In-One POS with imbedded printer. Also on display will be the Bar Vision Free Pour liquor management system for clubs and restaurants and POS Lavu iPad/Cloud based restaurant software.
Innovative payment processing solutions for ecommerce, mobile, mail order/telephone order businesses and professional offices will be featured as well according to Walton.
The “Re-Grand Opening” event takes place from 11AM-7PM on August 22 and 23 at Total Merchant Supply, 5104 South Boulevard (South Boulevard at Seneca Place).
