Popular Australian-inspired restaurant set for Jan. 31 grand opening
Tuesday, Jan. 31, is going to be a G’day in Visalia!
That’s when local residents will get their first taste of Outback Steakhouse and its bold, Australian-inspired cuisine.
The popular brand’s newest restaurant is located at 4004 South Mooney Blvd. An official ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Visalia Chamber of Commerce and other local dignitaries will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, beginning at 4 p.m.
In addition, a special invitation-only VIP night will be held on Monday, Jan. 30, with proceeds benefitting Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, which works to connect people with food and end hunger.
“I’m thrilled to bring Visalia its very own Outback Steakhouse,” said franchise joint venture partner Santiago Soto. “My team and I look forward to transporting our guests to the Australian Outback through our new restaurant’s warm, welcoming environment and delicious, one-of-a-kind menu.”
Visalia’s new Outback Steakhouse is approximately 6,500 square feet, with seating for 238 guests. It will be open from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
