Wings and Rings Rolls Out Sweet, Smoky Flavors for a Crave-Worthy Summer

Starting June 19, guests can enjoy Smoked Wings, Hot Honey Rings, Fire Fries, S’Mores Funnel Fries and Pineapple Jalapeño Margaritas at their local Wings and Rings.

Wings and Rings Rolls Out Sweet, Smoky Flavors for a Crave-Worthy SummerWings and Rings, the 85-unit club-level sports restaurant and bar franchise, is introducing a new line of crave-worthy, sweet heat menu items for summer. Available starting June 19, these limited-time offers celebrate the flavors of summer by bringing spicy-sweet flavors to Wings and Rings’ classic menu items. The brand’s Smoked Wings, Hot Honey Rings, Fire Fries, S’Mores Funnel Fries and Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita come together to create the perfect meal.

“There are some very nostalgic flavors that stand out in this lineup,” explained Dan Admire, Wings and Rings’ corporate chef. “Many of these menu items are things people haven’t eaten in a while, and we can bring back some memories of summer. My recommendation is to order them all and make a meal out of them!”

The Smoked Wings leverage a 24-hour, in-house smoking procedure that leave them tender and incredibly flavorful on their own, though Admire recommends getting sauce on the side, saying that some variation of a barbecue sauce is the natural fit. Get them while you can, because when Smoked Wings are gone for the day, they’re gone!

To complete the signature combination of Wings and Rings, guests can also order Hot Honey Rings as a starter. Hot Honey Rings are tossed in a sweet honey powder, made by running standard honey through a dehydrator.

“We’re adding ghost pepper powder to the honey powder, so there’s the natural sweetness of the honey as well as the ghost pepper heat,” Admire said. “This is a sort of dry seasoning that can be applied to the onion rings, which keeps them good and crisp and ensures you’re getting the flavor in every bite.”

Ghost pepper has been a favorite of the brand as it continues to dabble in spicy flavor combinations. Rather than using a heavy-handed shake of chipotle pepper, for example, which only continues to build in heat, Wings and Rings uses ghost pepper for its ability to pack a punch without overpowering the other flavors of the meal.

If that’s still not enough heat for you, the new menu features even more delicious and spicy options, including the Fire Fries –  loading traditional fries with ghost pepper ranch, scallions and Flamin’ Hot dust – and the Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita. It’s the perfect refreshment, playing into the sweet heat motif with crisp, summer flavors.

To end the meal on a sweet note, Wings and Rings is once again offering S’Mores Funnel Fries, a fan-favorite limited-time offer. The funnel cake fries are topped with melty, gooey marshmallows, chocolate and Cinnamon Toast Crunch crumbles for a tabletop dessert reminiscent of nights around the campfire.

“These flavor combinations are a great way to carry us into summer,” Admire said. “Everything we developed was done with summer in mind, whether that’s nostalgic flavors or the incorporation of honey, which bees are working hard to make all summer long.”

With summer coming in hot, Wings and Rings’ new summer limited-time offers make for the perfect appetizer, snack or meal for the longest days of the year. These items will be available June 19 through mid August; be sure to get them before they’re gone!
