Southern chicken chain opens Monday, Sept. 25
Saucy chicken chain Zaxby’s is opening its first location in Corydon, Indiana at 2363 SR-135 S. The new Zaxby’s, owned and operated by Unbridled Chicken, LLC, will open for both drive-thru and dine-in on Monday, Sept. 25.
“For over a decade, we have had plans to bring Zaxby’s to the Corydon community and today, our dream becomes a reality,” said Jerry Ayers, CEO and co-owner of Unbridled Chicken, LLC. “As a team, we’re committed to forging lasting relationships with local schools, first responders, and businesses. The white farmhouse-style restaurant, spanning roughly 2,700 square feet, features a capacious dining room accommodating up to 50 guests and an expansive back-of-house kitchen suited with state-of-the-art appliances to ensure service is hot and fresh every time. The restaurant is also equipped with a double drive-thru layout for swifter service and Zaxby’s cutting-edge digital menu boards to streamline the payment and pickup process for guests.
For even faster service, customers may also order ahead online via zaxbys.com as well as through the new Zaxby’s app available for download on Google Play and the App Store. Ordering delivery is also available directly through the Zaxby’s app, as well as through UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub and other third-party delivery services.
Zaxby’s declared this month Saucetember, its annual celebration of all things saucy. As part of the celebration, the brand just auctioned off its first-ever bottle of Zax Sauce, which came with a lifetime supply of Zax Sauce for the highest bidder. The proceeds from the final bid of $30,900 will benefit The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of America.
The new Corydon location will be joining 11 existing Zaxby’s locations across the state of Indiana. Unbridled Chicken, LLC is offering up to 50 new employment opportunities to the Corydon community. Interested applicants can apply via Indeed.com or visit the store for a walk-in interview.
