Much Anticipated Seasonal Flavor Hits the Handles at all Locations
16 Handles (http://www.16handles.com), today’s most innovative frozen yogurt brand, welcomes back seasonal favorite ‘Fist Pumpkin,’ a popular, limited edition frozen yogurt designed to capture the spirit and flavor of the autumn harvest.
Fist Pumpkin brings a fat free frozen yogurt twist to one of today’s most memorable seasonal flavors: pumpkin pie. The flavor blends delicious pumpkin goodness with perfect hints of cinnamon and spice. It pairs well with graham crackers, cheesecake bites and 16 Handles’ proprietary topping, Goji Granola.
As with all 16 Handles flavors, Fist Pumpkin is Kosher certified and carries The National Yogurt Association’s seal of approval. The flavor is available starting September 30 through December at all 16 Handles locations.
“Fist Pumpkin got its name from the reaction we saw when guests tasted this flavor—lots of excitement and even a little fist pumping,” said Solomon Choi, 16 Handles founder. “We’re excited to welcome Fist Pumpkin back into the mix and to reunite our brand fans with a flavor that they look forward to all year.”
16 Handles offers 16 rotating “handles” of frozen yogurt, along with an endless toppings bar that includes fresh, hand cut fruits, nuts, candies, cakes, sauces and other exclusive, chef-inspired toppings. In addition, 16 Handles offers non-dairy sorbets, frozen yogurt cakes, and WhipUps—guest-inspired creations that blend premium frozen yogurt and toppings into one delicious frozen confection.
Founded in 2008 by foodservice industry expert Solomon Choi, 16 Handles was the first frozen yogurt brand to pioneer the self-serve concept in New York City. Today the company has grown to 40 locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland and Florida and forecasts that 50 stores will be open by the end of 2013. Committed to sustainability, 16 Handles uses biodegradable packaging and spoons; each store plants 16 trees per day through a partnership with Trees for the Future.
