Another Broken Egg Cafe Hatches in Fairhope, Alabama with Three Fundraising EventsJacob Alleman, franchisee and managing partner of Cojak Investments, LLC is pleased to announce the Monday, March 7th opening of Fairhope’s first Another Broken Egg Cafe (ABEC) at 300 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, AL, 36532. This grand opening event marks ABEC’s 54th restaurant location in the USA, and Alleman’s second restaurant in Alabama. The upscale 4,200 square-foot, southern-inspired daytime restaurant will have seating for 138 inside and additional seating on the outdoor, open-air patio during the warmer months.

The public is invited to dine free of charge for three fundraising events as part of the grand opening festivities. Donations to support these organizations can be made following the dining experience in the form of cash, check, or credit card on each guest’s specified dining date. Patrons must call (225) 931-6804 to make a reservation, as seating will be limited. The featured events are as follows:

Thursday, March 3, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, supports Ecumenical Ministries of Baldwin County. http://www.baldwinemi.org Ecumenical Ministries is a non-denominational, comprehensive social service agency providing services to low income families and individuals in Baldwin County, Alabama for over forty years. There are seven programs which include: two Emergency Aid Centers (with food pantries), Meals on Wheels, Prescription Assistance, Home Repair, Community Development, Christmas Sharing and Emmy’s Thrift Shop. Through these programs, Ecumenical Ministries’ mission statement to the residents of Baldwin County is fulfilled.

Friday, March 4, from 10 AM to 1 PM, supports Baldwin County Humane Society http://baldwinhumane.org The Baldwin County Humane Society (BARC!) is a no-kill adoption agency (rather than a shelter). It is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit established in 1979; it was the first and remains the only county-wide animal welfare agency, with the goal of eliminating the number of abused and abandoned pets through spay/neuter, education, rescue and adoption. It relies entirely upon donations and does not receive any government funding. The corporation was formed to provide a means for the prevention of cruelty to animals within Baldwin County; to assist with the enforcement of lawful means with the arrest, conviction and punishment of all persons violating such law, and alleviate the over-population of dogs and cats within Baldwin County; to promote the adoption of homeless cats and dogs to good homes; and to help alleviate cruelty to and suffering of animals wherever such may occur.

Saturday, March 5, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, benefits The Eastern Shore Art Center http://www.esartcenter.com The Eastern Shore Art Center connects people of all ages and abilities with the arts through education, exhibitions and outreach activities, and is funded solely through private memberships, donations and grants. The Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and relies on the goodwill of the community for its continuation. All memberships and contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Since its inception, the goal of the Eastern Shore Art Center has been community education. The Art Center is free to the public and offers free guided tours through the five galleries. Exhibits change monthly and two Art Center sponsored outdoor festivals bring artists from all over the United States to the Eastern Shore.

Jacob Alleman and his business partners Cody Gielen and John Dan Gielen, all of Cojak Investments, LLC., currently own and operate existing ABEC locations in Lafayette & New Orleans, LA, Tuscaloosa, AL, Panama City Beach, Jacksonville, Winter Park and Lake Mary, FL. Alleman has worked for Another Broken Egg Cafe since college under the supervision of ABEC Founder Ron Green at the original Mandeville, LA location and Sandestin, FL.
