Arby’s is introducing the greatest thing since sliced roast beef – new Turkey Roasters. In celebration, Arby’s is hosting a nationwide tasting event for customers to sample one free Turkey Roaster sandwich of their choice when they visit a participating Arby’s on Thursday, September 6, 2012 between 11:00am and 1:00pm, while supplies last.
Served hot, and made fresh to order, Turkey Roasters feature oven roasted, tender turkey that is thinly sliced each day in the restaurants and piled high for a fresh sandwich made just for you. There are three delicious varieties to choose from:
- Grand Turkey Club – Sliced roast turkey with melted Swiss cheese, pepper bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a toasted harvest wheat bun
- Turkey ‘n Cheddar Classic – Thinly sliced oven roasted turkey topped with cheddar cheese and zesty Red Ranch sauce on a toasted onion roll
- Turkey Classic – Thinly sliced oven roasted turkey piled high on a toasted sesame seed bun
“Now everything our customers love about Arby’s freshly sliced meats can be found in the irresistible new Turkey Roasters,” said Russ Klein, Chief Marketing Officer, Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. “We can’t believe it took us 48 years to add Turkey Roasters to the menu, so we’re making up for it by offering everyone a chance to try one free of charge, no coupon required.”
Many may have hoped to mark their calendars for this day years ago. In fact, many may wonder why Arby’s, the experts in freshly sliced meats for more than 48 years, did not introduce Turkey Roasters earlier. To answer those questions, Arby’s has hired a professional scapegoat to take the heat and help make amends. Americans can meet Arby’s scapegoat on September 6 at www.Facebook.com/Arbys and share how excited they are that Arby’s is finally serving the new Turkey Roasters via Facebook, Twitter, email or phone.
In addition, Arby’s makes it easy for people everywhere to mark their calendars for the nationwide tasting event by simply visiting www.Arbys.com. Beginning September 1, they can instantly add a reminder to their personal electronic calendar by choosing the application of their choice and the event will automatically populate. The invitation can also be shared with Facebook friends so everyone can enjoy a free Turkey Roaster on September 6.
