Nestled in the business bedrock of one of the fastest growing communities in Florida dwells Art’s Southern Style BBQ. The Winter Garden eatery will host its grand opening celebration Wednesday, February 8, 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., in Stoneybrook West Village at 15502 Stoneybrook West Parkway.
The general public is encouraged to attend the event at the new culinary destination. Art’s southern hospitality will include restaurant tours, a community presentation, and free food samples. Those in attendance will also be able to savor a delicious medley of mouth watering menu ordered items including smoked ribs, barbeque chicken, fried catfish, and an all-time favorite…pulled pork. Art’s Southern Style BBQ also features other specialty items, including homemade peach cobbler and a “Best in the South” signature sweet hickory smoked BBQ sauce.
Artwork of famous blues musicians and well-known entertainers adorning the walls offer a complimentary backdrop suitable to the ambiance for celebration and great BBQ dining created by live blues style entertainment from the restaurant’s own house band.
“After an extraordinary nineteen consecutive years in the restaurant business, we are pleased to have anchored a significant niche in this growing community,” notes co-owner Marilyn Holmes. “We’ve received four stars from food critics and maintained a strong following by preparing good southern food at affordable prices.”
Art’s Southern Style BBQ is family owned and operated by co-founders Artis and Marilyn Holmes. Before retiring from the military in 1993, the couple opened their first restaurant, and introduced authentic southern style barbeque where they lived in Rapid City, South Dakota. Since then, Art’s Southern Style BBQ restaurants have been established in Coral Springs, Florida, and Altamonte Springs, Florida, receiving critical acclaim for undeniably good food.
The restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., and closed Sundays.
