Jacob Alleman, franchisee and managing partner of Cojak Investments, LLC is pleased to announce the successful Monday, August 17 grand opening of Lake Mary’s first Another Broken Egg Cafe (ABEC) at 920 International Parkway, Suite 100, Lake Mary, FL 32746. This Lake Mary opening represents ABEC’s 50th restaurant location in the USA and the efforts raised $1,803 to support three nonprofits in the community. The public dined free of charge and made contributions as part of the festivities to support the following organizations: Seminole Audubon Society http://www.seminoleaudubon.org. Seminole Audubon Society’s mission is to promote awareness and protection of the plants and animals in the St Johns River basin in order to sustain the beneficial coexistence of nature and humans; T.E.A.R.S. of Seminole County http://tearsofseminolecounty.org. T.E.A.R.S. mission is to improve both the quality of life and shelter living conditions for these animals and the prospect of starting a new life in a new forever home or foster home, and Nemours Children’s Health System http://www.nemours.org/service/medical/juvenile-diabetes.html?location=nccla. Nemours mission is to help children get into the habit of managing their disease each day from diagnosis to providing education and support. Nemours will help without missing a beat at being a kid.
The new upscale Another Broken Egg Cafe is a 3,500 square foot southern-inspired daytime restaurant with seating for 100 inside and an additional 68 seats & a fully stocked bar on the expansive 2,100 square foot open-air patio. Guests here are provided with an abundant variety of fresh, southern-inspired ingredients to choose from on their expansive menu of breakfast, brunch, & lunch cuisine. The menu boasts six variations of Eggs Benedict, eight gourmet omelet choices, and exceptional ‘Cake’ creations including Cinnamon Roll French Toast, a jumbo Sweet Potato pancake, and gluten-free pancakes that rival any pancake, gluten-free or not! Brunch & lunch entrees such as the Southern Crabstack classic Biscuits & Gravy, and several handcrafted Burgers, Sandwiches, & Salads make ABE Café a perfect business (or pleasure) lunch destination. Another Broken Egg Cafe’s pricing ranges from about $8 to $15 per person. For a refreshing addition to any meal, don’t forget about the cocktails. Mimosas made with fresh orange juice are a must, as are the house Bloody Mary made with pepper-infused vodka for $5.99 each. ABEC’s also boasts a rotating seasonal drink menu showcasing offerings such as white & red Sangrias, as well as specialty coffees with a wide variety of coffee liqueurs.
For health-conscious patrons, Another Broken Egg Cafe’s “Healthy Side” includes house-roasted granola, blueberry-infused Quinoa, Steel Cut Oats, the Chobani Tuile, and the ever-popular egg white Skinny Omelette served with a side of fresh fruit.
Jacob Alleman and his business partners Cody Gielen and John Dan Gielen, all of Cojak Investments, LLC., currently own and operate existing ABEC locations in Lafayette & New Orleans, LA, Tuscaloosa, AL, Panama City Beach, Jacksonville, Winter Park and Lake Mary, FL. Alleman has worked for Another Broken Egg Cafe since college under the supervision of ABEC Founder Ron Green at the original Mandeville, LA location and Sandestin, FL. After graduating from Louisiana State University, Alleman opened his first Another Broken Egg Cafe location in Lafayette, LA in December 2007, making him Green’s first official franchisee.
